Ami Burr
CHAIR OF THE BOARD
Founder of OMA, Ami has home educated for three decades and has taught in area homeschool groups. She is committed to fostering educational excellence through Charlotte Mason and Classical methodologies alongside community engagements that honor God and grow students for His glory. Personally, she loves farming, being a mom and grandmother while supporting her husband who pastors an Anglican church in the Murphy, NC area.

Andrea Stewart
VICE CHAIR
A career of teaching biology, coaching and retiring as vice principle at Murphy Middle School and coordinator of the AIG (gifted and talented program), Andrea offers a deep love for spiritual growth with a focus on community outreach while maintaining OMA's commitment to glorifying God through education. She is a spiritual grandmother to many, challenging students to a higher calling. She also loves hunting with her husband and fur babies!

Amanda Bradshaw
SECRETARY
Committed to the spiritual and academic growth of students, ensuring a Christ-centered curriculum, Amanda has helped to shape OMA in intentional ways through casting vision, curriculum choices and support of staff. She has home educated for close to 15 years while practicing as an ICU nurse parttime and doing what she loves most, homesteading and teaching others how to homestead, too.
